Cross Country Competition 1st November 2018

23 children put their waterproofs on and braved a day of cross country in the pouring rain! To prepare for our trip we practised running longer distances around our school field, although nothing could prepare us for the wet and horrible weather when we arrived!

Every single child showed a fantastic attitude and were excellent role models throughout the day. We were so proud to have them representing our school. We had lots of trips and falls along the way and each child stopped to check other people were OK and they offered encouragement throughout. They were all very supportive of each other and proud of each other.

We always strive to achieve our best, but this trip has taught us the importance of resilience, perseverance, determination and a positive attitude!
